WA Longevity Score

WA Longevity Score.

The 10 key longevity tests cross-referenced with your genetics, in a single number. The indicator the club tracks with you, close after close.

Why one number

Any major hospital or laboratory runs each of these 10 tests. What none of them does is bring them together in the same place, on the same day, cross-reference the results with your genetics, and turn it all into an indicator that moves with your lifestyle.

Isolated reports tell parts of the story. An excellent VO₂ with high inflammation and poor sleep is not a healthy person, it is a person with one good test. The Score solves this: it consolidates the markers that weigh most on longevity into a single indicator, comparable over time, that the member understands in a second and the team uses to decide the route.

How it is calculated

The WA algorithm combines two layers:

WA Checkup.

How your body expresses health today, measured in WA's tests.

WA Genomic.

What your genetics predisposes you to, measured once, at entry.

Genetics comes in as context: it calibrates the reading, it does not define the destination. What moves the Score are the test results that reflect your lifestyle.

The 10 pillars

  1. 01

    VO₂ max.

Cardiorespiratory capacity. Measured in the cardiopulmonary exercise test.

  2. 02

    Strength and muscle mass.

Muscle index. Measured by DEXA and strength assessments.

  3. 03

    Visceral fat.

The fat that surrounds the organs. Measured by DEXA.

  4. 04

    Blood sugar.

HbA1c and insulin resistance. Measured in the lab and by the glucose sensor.

  5. 05

    Cholesterol.

ApoB, the marker that best represents cardiovascular risk. Measured in the lab.

  6. 06

    Inflammation.

High-sensitivity CRP. Measured in the lab.

  7. 07

    Kidney function.

Cystatin C. Measured in the lab.

  8. 08

    Sleep and recovery.

WA Recovery, calculated from your wearable.

  9. 09

    24-hour blood pressure.

    Measured by ABPM.

  10. 10

    DNA aging pace.

DunedinPACE: how many biological years you age per chronological year. Measured by the epigenetic test.

The tiers

Each pillar receives its own classification (optimal, borderline, elevated) and the Score consolidates everything with a confidence index, which grows as more tests enter the calculation.

What it changes in practice

For the member:
one number to track on your phone, with a history at every close, and clarity about which pillar is pulling the result down.
For the WA team:
the basis for a change of route. When the trend turns, the plan changes before the problem appears.
For companies (CorporateWA):
the indicator HR tracks by code, with no named clinical data.
